Pattern Books by Mary Harris

In my years of creating & teaching stained glass, the one thing that always kept coming up was the lack of realistic patterns. It’s true…most look like cartoons with no attention to muscle structure of proportions. Over the years, I have drawn and saved all of my original patterns. The “True-To-Life” series is a compilation of that work. Special attention is given to each pattern to create a life like appearance. I have also tried to present animals not found readily in other pattern books. My first book, "True-to-Life Animals" ,includes: Elk, deer, pheasants, horses, baffalo, big horn sheep, bears and many other types of wild creatures!

Also now available …True to life Carousel Animals.  34 beautifully drawn patterns from the Great Northern Carousel in Helena, Montana

Currently, I’m working on my 3rd book, True to Life Horses.  Lover’s of these magnificent animals will appreciate the detail and care taken with each pattern….Here’s a sneak peek!
